JOE STRUMMER 002: THE MESCALEROS YEARS

As the Art Director of "Joe Strummer 002: The Mescaleros Years," I orchestrated a collaborative endeavor that paid homage to Joe Strummer's work after leaving The Clash. Collaborating closely with both the creative and production teams, I dove deep into the world of Joe Strummer.

Drawing inspiration from the original albums, I meticulously crafted a color palette based on each album's primary colors, ensuring that the visual identity resonated with the band's eclectic energy. Additionally, I unearthed treasures from Joe Strummer's personal archive, poring over his handwritten and hand-drawn materials. These artifacts provided invaluable insight, guiding our artistic direction and infusing the artwork with authenticity and soul.

Throughout the process, I collaborated with musicians, producers, and label representatives, aligning our vision with the band's ethos. Navigating the approval process with Joe Strummer's estate, I ensured that the final product honored his legacy with integrity and reverence.

From concept to production, our team delivered an immersive experience that celebrated Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, preserving their indelible mark on music history.
